When your only 14 finding a car that can pass as a hot rod when done and be cheap enough for you to, not only afford too buy but also too insure as a first car is hard work, But when your dad and his mates play with all kinds of automotive junk you just know something will turn up.
Enter stage left, a 2 door Morris minor with a tuned Oselli 1275 A series and lotus steel wheels.
Originally bought to sell on we soon found more people seemed interested in either the engine or the wheel than in taking the whole car so after these were sold off we end up with a free minor that now needs the original welding repairs along an engine, we already had a spare set of Morris wheels along with a set of 13” Vauxhall steels seen on the front in the picture and a set of Fiat cross wire alloys seen on the rear.
Part 2
The next hurdle? How do I go about telling mum that along with dads 6 cars the 2 every day cars we now need to make room for juniors car. Oh and how do you get a big stereo into a minor?
